Simcenter Amesim Essentials XaaS includes the following modules:
- Simcenter Amesim Advanced (IL-AME.03.1): This module enables you to model and simulate environment to develop and analyze multi-disciplinary system models. It includes a set of analysis tools like CAD import, Statechart Designer, Real time option, Application scripting and programming interfaces, Circuit application programming interface, Functional Mockup Interface. It also offers several libraries like Signal, control and observer library and Mechanical library.
- Simcenter Amesim Simulink interface (IL-INT.01.2): This point-to-point interface provides an easy-to-use and efficient tool for coupling a Simcenter Amesim plant model with a Simulink control system model.
- Simcenter Amesim Hydraulic library: It includes a collection of fluid properties, a collection of commonly used hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, tanks, valves, orifices, and pipes, and a set of sources and sensors.
- Simcenter Amesim Thermal library: This library is used to model heat transfer modes (conduction, convection, and radiation) for solid materials and includes heat exchanger models.
- Simcenter Amesim Thermal-Hydraulic library: This library models thermal phenomena in liquid fluids using a transient heat transfer approach. It contains functional models of varying complexity based on manufacturer's data sheets.
- Simcenter Amesim™ Pneumatics library is a solution for designing pneumatic systems, networks, and components, along with thermal exchanges and moist air models. It offers predefined functional components for determining optimal response of complex systems under steady-state and dynamic conditions.
- Simcenter Amesim Planar-Mechanical library can be used for any kind of 2D mechanical system using rigid bodies, pivot, translation joint and/or a combination of both. It includes a 2D animation assistant.
- Simcenter Amesim Electric Basics and Converters library is used to model simple electric circuits. It includes a collection of basic components such as R, L, C, quasi-ideal switches, transmission line, mutual inductance coupling, ideal transformers, and the possibility of coupling an electric model to a thermal library.
